Diana Marua, EMB Boss Kevin Bahati’s wife, is among Kenya’s Youtube Millionaires.
Her journey from being a Mpesa Lady to becoming a Youtube Millionaire is nothing short of inspiring.
In a throwback post on her insta-story, Diana Marua disclosed that she once worked as a Mpesa Agent. She went on to say that it was her very first job. She was grateful to God for the far that she had come.
“I used to work at this pharmacy before it was renamed good life…as a mpesa agent… my first job. This far, I call him Ebenezer,” she captioned,
Unknown to many, Diana Marua hails from Migori County, Nyanza Region. She is a Luo. Like many grass-to-grace stories, Diana comes from a humble background.
However, as a firstborn, she understood well that she had to be a role model to her younger siblings.
After finishing high school, the mother of two embarked on her hustling journey. She started as a Mpesa Lady.
She worked at the Mpesa shop for a while before getting another position as a receptionist for a firm.
This set her on her journey to prominence and meeting Kevin Bahati. But earlier, she wasn’t a superstar.
Her life changed drastically when she started dating Bahati. She instantly became famous after introducing her relationship with Bahati to the public realm.
Her follower numbers on Instagram and Facebook skyrocketed. However, she was jobless and completely reliant on Bahati for money.
But she didn’t feel at ease with Bahati spoiling her for being his girlfriend. She opted to be creative and consider how she would turn her prominence into money.
In 2019, she launched her Youtube channel and started sharing lifestyle vlogs. This was a new phenomenon in Kenya, but she quickly grew in popularity since people adored the Bahati and wanted to learn more about them.

Presently, Diana Marua is a musician and singer, aside from being a content creator. She has over 870,000 Youtube subscribers.
She earns between Sh. 500k and Sh. 1 million per month from YouTube. The only secret to her success on YouTube is consistency and high-quality programming. Diana posts videos every day.
The majority of her vlogs receive over 100,000 views per day. Clearly, slow and steady wins the race. Her latest single is NARUDI SOKO.
Her celebrity status has also resulted in brand endorsements. She is a brand ambassador for 12 firms, all of which are multimillion-dollar engagements.
